🥊 If I were the Paul brothers, here's what I'd do...
Creating an engaged community –and brand– through soc...?!?
I guess everyone reading knows who the Paul brothers are. In case you don't, they are two siblings that have become social media celebrities by sharing crazy content on Youtube. Yes that's a really brief and general description, but the point is that lately they have got involved in the boxing world –not professionally– and have made a lot of money by fighting against pretty important people – Mayweather included.
They have already made millions through these fights but, how could they keep making them without having to receive so many punches in their faces?
These fights have, in some way, started a movement – where they are probably the leaders. Just like Netflix series have got thousands of people into F1 and Chess, these guys have probably influenced many young people to start boxing – or at least fighting. We've already seen fights like "Youtubers vs TikTokers" starting to get more popular, and there will probably be more of them.
The Paul brothers have reached many people already in the boxing world, and influenced many people to start practicing it. Now, they need to leverage their reach and influence to consolidate their names in this world.
What could they do to do so... 👇🏼
First thing I'd do is sell merchandise, boxing and training accessories – which they probably already offer or will at some point – and build gyms + boxing clubs & teams.
Then, I'd create a tokenized community.
🥊 The Pauxing Club | $PAUXXX
Where anyone who wants to become a member would have to buy their token/coin.
There are a few different ways they could use this token:
Holding – Some users may decide to hold on to a social token as a collectible asset representing their support for, and loyalty to, a particular brand, like existing loyalty programs do. Instead of collecting loyalty points, users collect social tokens, and those with the most get access to more exclusive and valuable benefits and rewards.
Earning – Brands can reward loyal fans and customers for their support with social tokens.
Once they have a tokenized community, they can now offer their members unique access to products, services, places or even activities/events.
What would I offer?
Exclusive content & meetings
Merchandise (why not tokenized too)
Boxing and training accessories
Gym access
Training with coaches
Become a team fighter
Access to private events
VIP access to public events
1:1 fights
This is a lot of stuff they could offer to their huge audience –specially super fans– but that people already into boxing could also benefit from! How would all these offers work together? Let me explain briefly...
Based on what I mentioned before, in order to become a member of "The Pauxing Club" people would have two ways to acquire the required amount of tokens:
Directly buy them
Reach that amount through rewards*
*This means that whenever someone purchases one of their products, or a ticket to an event, they would receive certain amount of tokens (if they decided to do it this way)
By being a member of the club, you would also receive an NFT (i.e. an image) that certifies that you are a member and that you could show online – kinda like a badge. Then, depending on the amount of tokens that you hold, you would have access to the offers mentioned above – that you qualify for. This way, the members of the club would be encouraged to be more active and purchase more of the offers available for being part of the club.
With this crypto revolution, more brands will have the opportunity to use social tokens either as a means of exclusive community access or members-only perks and benefits, and this a win-win situation where both creators and fans can benefit.
I don't know what you guys think of this, but I think it would be pretty cool, and it would definitely bring crypto –and social tokens– to the masses. There are definitely more ways that creators could benefit from such tokens, and if you have any new idea I'd love to hear it.

Here below is one way I could see NFTs being used by brands and creators in order to sell physical products and experiences to their fans 👇🏼
